This summertime we will find ourselves in the middle of a 3D battlefield... 

Despicable Me is a computer-animated 3d feature film from Universal Pictures featuring the voices of Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Jason Segel, Russell Brand and Julie Andrews.


The film starts in a happy suburban neighborhood. You know the scene.... white picket fences with flowering rose bushes but there sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknown to the neighbors, hidden deep beneath this home is a vast secret hideout.

Surrounded by an army of tireless, little yellow minions, we discover Gru, the former #1 supervillain, whose evil attempts are always thwarted by Vector, a super smart teenage nerd, who is now #1, Vector has Armys of giant faceless eyed Robots (they were minions). To outdo him, Gru is planning the biggest heist in the history of the world- steal the moon.


Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls, Margo, Edith and Agnes, who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. As Gru starts to father the three, he starts to realize that just because he acts like a bad guy that doesn't mean he is a bad guy.
