Yogi Bear in 3D... Will he be smarter than the average bear?
The
3D live action / CGI film of Yogi Bear is due for release just before the
Christmas 2010. It is based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series, The Yogi Bear Show.
This will be the first movie featuring Hanna-Barbera property which will be produced without either Bill Hanna nor Joe Barbera.
Dan Aykroyd stars in the film as Yogi Bear alongside Anna Faris and Justin Timberlake.
Following the television series, the film will follow the adventures of Yogi Bear (Dan Aykroyd) and his pal Boo-Boo (Justin Timberlake) in Jellystone Park, as they avoid Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh). Ranger Smith is trying to stop Yogi from stealing picnic baskets!
Whilst this is happening, , a nature documentary filmmaker (Anna Faris) is in Jellystone shooting a film where she encounters Yogi and Boo-Boo. using their typical antics, Yogi & boo-Boo then try to get her and Ranger Smith hooked up, where they become romantically involved. Just adding tot he mix, Yogi Bear also falls in love with Cindy Bear (Christine Taylor).
Come along with Yogi and the crew for a ride in Jellystone Park this Christmas!
