Disney is roaring back in 2011 with Cars 2 (this time in 3d)
Cars 2 is the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 film Cars. This time it will be a computer-animated
3d film. It is scheduled for release on June 24, 2011. and the story will evolve around Lightning McQueen and Mater traveling around the world.
Lightning McQueen, together with his pit crew and his new crew chief (Mater) are featured traveling around the world for the "Race of Champions". This race takes place in five different countries: Japan, Germany, Italy, a 24-hour race in France, and the United Kingdom.
To add to the story, Mater is involved in a case of mistaken identity... He ends up saving the life of a British secret agent called Finn McMissile and this then leads to him becoming embroiled in the world of international espionage!
